The UPLSAA will have a lecture titled
The ABC's of Metadata on 30 January 2008 at the School of Library and Information Science. Our lecturer will be Mr. Chito N. Angeles (BLS 1998, MLIS 2006), the Information Technology Officer of the University Library, UP Diliman.
This lecture is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of metadata and its implications to their profession. The speaker will demonstrate how it can be applied to the library setting and provide examples for its effective implementation.
